Framed Insect

Framed butterflies and insect art

Real butterflies, moths and insects, expertly pinned and mounted in ready-to-hang display frames. Each piece is handcrafted by Chris, so no two are ever exactly alike - a striking, natural centerpiece for your home, office or studio.

From single specimens in transparent frames to bold multi-butterfly arrangements, our framed art brings a piece of nature indoors. Carefully packaged to arrive in perfect condition and shipped worldwide.

Not only butterflies

Besides framed butterflies you'll find the Death's-head Hawkmoth (Acherontia atropos), the iridescent Madagascan sunset moth (Urania ripheus) and the longhorn beetle Petrognatha gigas with its extremely long antennae. Looking for butterflies only? See Framed Butterflies.

Caring for framed insects

Hang the frame away from direct sunlight, as strong UV light fades colors over time. Want to choose a frame for your own specimens? Read Shadow Frame vs. Deep Frame vs. Alder Box.
