Thank you for shopping at EntomoBoxes, operated by Nymphalis s.r.o.. We take pride in our handcrafted equipment and carefully selected specimens. This policy outlines your rights and our procedures regarding returns, withdrawals, and refunds.
1. Right of Withdrawal (EU Customers)
In accordance with European Union consumer protection laws, customers located within the EU have the legal right to withdraw from their purchase within 14 calendar days without providing a reason.

Period: The withdrawal period expires 14 days after the day you (or a person nominated by you) take physical possession of the goods.

Return Deadline: Once you notify us, you have an additional 14 days to ship the goods back to us.
2. Eligibility and Conditions for Returns
To be eligible for a return and refund, the following conditions must be met:

The product must be in its original, unused, and sellable condition.

The product must be returned in its original packaging, including all protective materials, accessories, and documentation.

The item must not fall under the "Non-Returnable Items" section below.
3. Non-Returnable Items
Due to the specialized nature of our products, the following items are exempt from the right of withdrawal and cannot be returned:

Fragile Biological Specimens: Dried insects that have been removed from their original protective layering, rehydrated, or handled by the customer. Due to their extreme fragility, these items cannot be resold once the original seal/packaging is compromised.

Customized Equipment: Any products manufactured to specific customer requirements, such as pinning boards with custom slot widths or bespoke dimensions.

Perishable Goods: Live insect pupae or other biological material that may deteriorate rapidly.

Items on Final Sale: Clearly marked discounted items that are non-returnable.
4. Return Process

Request Authorization: Contact us at info@entomoboxes.com to receive a Return Authorization (RA) number and the correct return address.

Packaging: Securely package the items. We recommend using the original shipping box. If a return arrives damaged due to inadequate packaging, we reserve the right to deduct the loss in value from your refund.

Shipping Costs: The customer is responsible for paying the return shipping costs. We recommend using a trackable shipping service.

Proof of Postage: Please retain your tracking number until the refund is processed.
5. Damaged or Defective Items
As per our Shipping Policy, we take great care in packaging. However, if your order arrives damaged:

Please include clear photographs of the damaged product and the exterior/interior packaging.

For verified shipping damage or defective equipment, we will provide a replacement or a full refund, including original shipping costs.
6. Refunds

Inspection: Once we receive and inspect your return, we will email you to confirm approval or rejection of the refund.

Timeline: Approved refunds will be processed within 14 days of receiving the goods.

Method: The refund will be applied to your original method of payment. Please note that banks or credit card issuers may take additional time to post the transaction.
