Welcome to EntomoBoxes! The terms “we”, “us” and “our” refer to EntomoBoxes. We operate this online store and website, including all related information, content, features, tools, products and services (the “Services”).

By visiting, interacting with or purchasing from our store, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (the “Terms”) and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use our Services.

SECTION 1 – ACCESS AND ACCOUNT

By agreeing to these Terms, you confirm that you are at least the age of majority in your country of residence, or that you have obtained the consent of a parent or guardian for any minor dependents.
You are responsible for ensuring that all information you provide is correct, current and complete. You are also responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity under your account.

SECTION 2 – OUR PRODUCTS

We make every effort to describe and display products accurately. However, slight variations may occur (for example, due to device screen settings).
Descriptions and prices of products may change without notice. We reserve the right to limit the sale of products to certain geographic regions, subject to applicable law.

SECTION 3 – ORDERS

Placing an order constitutes an offer to purchase. A binding contract is formed once you receive our order confirmation email.
Orders are subject to product availability and payment clearance.
Orders may not be cancelled once confirmed, except in accordance with your statutory rights (see Section 7 – Right of Withdrawal).

SECTION 4 – PRICES AND BILLING

All prices shown in our store are final consumer prices and include VAT where applicable. Shipping costs and any customs or import duties are calculated separately and shown before checkout.
You agree to provide accurate billing and payment information. By submitting payment details, you confirm that you are authorized to use the chosen payment method.

SECTION 5 – SHIPPING AND DELIVERY

Unless otherwise agreed, products will be delivered within 30 days from the order confirmation date. If we are unable to deliver within this time, you may request a refund.
Delivery times displayed are estimates only. We are not responsible for delays caused by carriers, customs, or circumstances beyond our reasonable control. Title and risk of loss transfer to you once the goods are physically delivered.

SECTION 6 – RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL (EU CONSUMER RIGHTS)

If you are a consumer residing in the European Union, you have the legal right to withdraw from your purchase within 14 days after receiving the goods, without giving any reason.
To exercise this right, you must notify us of your decision in writing (e.g., by email). 

Exceptions: The right of withdrawal does not apply to certain goods, including:

  • perishable goods (e.g., live insects or pupae),

  • custom-made or personalized items,

  • sealed goods that are not suitable for return due to health or hygiene reasons, once unsealed.

If you withdraw, we will refund the payments received (excluding delivery costs) without undue delay, and at the latest within 14 days from receiving the returned goods. You must bear the cost of return shipping.

SECTION 7 – WARRANTY & LEGAL GUARANTEES

Consumers in the EU benefit from a two-year legal guarantee under Directive 1999/44/EC and national law. If a product is faulty or not as described, you are entitled to a repair, replacement, or refund in accordance with Slovak consumer law.

SECTION 8 – INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

All content, designs, images, logos and text on the Services are the property of EntomoBoxes or our licensors. You may not use, copy, or reproduce our intellectual property without prior written consent.

SECTION 9 – THIRD-PARTY SERVICES & LINKS

Our store is powered by Shopify. Purchases are made directly with EntomoBoxes, not with Shopify.
The Services may include links to third-party websites. We are not responsible for the content, policies, or practices of those sites.

SECTION 10 – COMPLAINTS AND DISPUTE RESOLUTION

If you have a complaint, please contact us at info@entomoboxes.com and we will do our best to resolve it.
As required by EU law, we inform you that you may also submit complaints via the EU Online Dispute Resolution (ODR) platform: https://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.

SECTION 11 – LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

We are not liable for damages except as required under applicable law. Nothing in these Terms shall limit your statutory rights as a consumer.

SECTION 12 – GOVERNING LAW

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Slovak Republic. However, if you are a consumer, you will also benefit from any mandatory provisions of the law of your country of residence.

SECTION 13 – CHANGES TO TERMS

We may update these Terms from time to time. Any material changes will be communicated in accordance with the law. Continued use of the Services after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance.
