- Placed inside a strong cardboard box
- Stabilized to prevent movement during transport

It is important to understand that claims suggesting all perfect specimens “lived their full natural life” are misleading. In nature, butterflies and moths that die naturally typically have worn or damaged wings. Specimens in perfect condition are usually sourced before natural deterioration occurs.
We do not make false claims. Instead, we focus on responsible and sustainable sourcing.
What does sustainable sourcing mean?
For us, sustainable sourcing includes:
- Butterfly farms in the country of origin, supporting local communities
- Specimens bred by us or trusted partners
- Legal and regulated wild collection
- Responsible and transparent practices
Customers can use product filters to choose between farmed and wild-collected specimens.
A papered (unmounted) butterfly or moth is:
- Stored in a protective paper envelope
- With wings folded closed
- Not yet pinned or spread
To display it, you need to pin and spread the specimen yourself using standard entomological techniques.
Papered specimens are ideal for collectors who prefer preparing their own displays.
If your package is lost, damaged, or arrives in unsatisfactory condition, we will:
- Send a replacement item, or
- Issue a full refund

Contact usIf I were a beginner at insect pinning, I might have rated this higher; however, given the price, I expected higher-quality specimens. There was a good variety of sizes, with specimens ranging from approximately 4 to 10 cm in length. Unfortunately, several arrived with holes or tears in the wings, even before pinning. The specimens were packaged well, so I don’t believe the damage occurred during shipping.
In terms of species, there was nothing particularly special, though based on other reviews, this may have been specific to my batch.

One of the antennas was broken and I can’t tell if one has its legs or if it’s folded, either way I absolutely love them. (Plus there’s only so much you can do to protect them.

I really liked the selection of butterflies included! There were a few duplicates but I didn't mind since they were all beautiful. Out of 20, only one wasn't in good condition, which is absolutely fine. I am looking forward to decorating my room with them! 🦋

You guys! The variety is astounding. The quality is surprising but a few of them have missing antennas but I am still 110% happy with my purchase. Most of them are stunning and I am grateful for the variety and quality which I actually wasnt expecting. There is also a great variety in size, shape, and color so you get great practice! This is a MUCH better path than buying each butterfly individually. Well worth the money

Chris was super helpful and the Butterflies arrived in great variety. There were some duplicates but I don’t mind it. They were packaged correctly and arrived in good condition. He even included stickers which I love.
Except for the butterflies in the Picture, there were also 2 papilio Maackii and and Two Papilio Helenus
I love them, I'm new to this and the seller gave me great advice on how to choose quality butterflies. There was just one that arrived a little torn but the rest of the butterflies were all in great condition
