We take great care in packaging our specimens.
Each pinned specimen is:
- Securely attached to a specially designed internal mounting platform shaped like a pinning board
- Placed inside a strong cardboard box
- Stabilized to prevent movement during transport
This system ensures that specimens remain firmly in place and are protected during worldwide shipping.
No :)
For orders outside the EU, customers do not pay any additional customs duties, import taxes, or delivery fees. We handle the shipping process to ensure a smooth international delivery experience.
If you have questions about a specific country, please contact us before ordering.
Yes, we ship worldwide, including the USA.
We use DDP (Delivered Duty Paid) shipping for U.S. orders.
This means no additional import duties, customs fees, or taxes are charged to you. Your order will arrive without any extra payments on delivery.
There may occasionally be minor delays due to customs processing, but no additional fees are required from the customer.
We are fully transparent about sourcing.
All specimens are either:
- Sustainably farmed, or
- Wild collected under legal regulations
It is important to understand that claims suggesting all perfect specimens “lived their full natural life” are misleading. In nature, butterflies and moths that die naturally typically have worn or damaged wings. Specimens in perfect condition are usually sourced before natural deterioration occurs.
We do not make false claims. Instead, we focus on responsible and sustainable sourcing.
What does sustainable sourcing mean?
For us, sustainable sourcing includes:
- Butterfly farms in the country of origin, supporting local communities
- Specimens bred by us or trusted partners
- Legal and regulated wild collection
- Responsible and transparent practices
Customers can use product filters to choose between farmed and wild-collected specimens.
A papered (unmounted) butterfly or moth is:
- Stored in a protective paper envelope
- With wings folded closed
- Not yet pinned or spread
To display it, you need to pin and spread the specimen yourself using standard entomological techniques.
Papered specimens are ideal for collectors who prefer preparing their own displays.
If your package is lost, damaged, or arrives in unsatisfactory condition, we will:
- Send a replacement item, or
- Issue a full refund
You may choose the solution that works best for you. Customer satisfaction is our priority.

Contact usEs muy bonita y más grande de lo que esperaba a pesar de tener en cuenta las medidas. El envío y rastreo fue un tema pero sí llegó al final, la caja se maltrató un poco pero el producto llegó en buen estado :)
Great quality and sturdy! Super excited to use it!
i am so excited to use this! it will be a great upgrade from my usual foam boards i’ve been using. it also came with some cute little butterfly stickers and was packaged nicely
If I could put more than 5 stars I would! High quality and good craftmanship and the seller was the nicest and even accepted a custom order. I have yet to test the board but I can wait and know it'll perfectly do the job. Thanks again Chris. Will definitly order again 🫶
Fantastic pinning board! Just as described and easy to use. Seller was super helpful and friendly. Highly recommend
Très bien réalisé, livré rapidement, léger et réglage facile.
Le papier millimétré est une excellente idée pour permettre un étalage parfaitement symétrique
Sehr gutes Brett - verstellbar.
Ware war gut verpackt, der Versand war schnell.
I really am the type to not try new things… but when I saw this I had to give it a chance!
I have one complaint, the sticker was lifting almost immediately. It’s useful to ensure everything is level, but it’s really annoying.
Everything else was great, easy to use and you can fit quite a few bugs.
I was hoping you could change the angle of the wings, but the only thing that is adjustable is the thickness of the thorax. Maybe something to think about changing!
Parfait, très simple d'utilisation et envoie rapide
needed to upgrade my equipment and this works perfectly
Just what I needed! Shipping was fast and the package came with a beautiful note and some stickers!! Already using it since I had some butterflies waiting :))
Am very happy with the board I bought. Good quality, perfect size and arrived before I expected. Asked for advice by the seller and he was extremely helpful. If you need a new, well crafted board this is the place to get them from.

Absolutely lovely item. High quality and looks great
Appreciate it and thank you
Article parfaitement identique à la description.
Great product, easy to adjust and is very customizable.
Had some issues, but seller made it right
We were very happy with the items that we bought. Unfortunately the delivery person threw the package over the fence so one of the items broke but as we were able to fix it we didn't contact the seller. Thank you for sending us exactly what we were hoping for.
Package arrived broken, Chris was great to talk to and issued a full refund. Great customer service
Très bon produit merci beaucoup
Unfortunately, part of the 3-D printed brackets cracked. I’m not sure if this was due to shipping, or what, but once I glued it back together, it works well. The bottom is made out of thin piece of Styrofoam, which could be improved upon, but otherwise works well. Very expensive for what it is.
Die Sendung wieder gut angekommen vielen Dank. Sehr gute Qualität wie immer danke schön
